I was taught that you are a medicine woman when your community gives you that role. It is a role I am humbled to receive, a lifelong path devoted to sharing the medicine of the plants in reciprocity with the Earth. This work is to be a bridge for the plants to share their healing in multitudes. Medicinal plants heal the many layers of the body, but they also support the innate healing capabilities each of our bodies holds within us. I am here to share this healing, and further, to share ways of being in relationship with the plants, supporting a life of resilience and ecological consciousness so we can bring that healing back to the Earth.
My practice weaves the holistic entanglement of clinical herbalism and ancestral medicine. Through clinical herbalism, the biophysical is addressed at a systemic level, as a vital ecosystem. Through ancestral folk medicine, the energetic, elemental, and spiritual bodies are addressed in people and plants. My teachers include, among many, "the godmother of modern herbalism”, Rosemary Gladstar, clinical herbalists Kat Maier and Sajah Pophem, Babaylans in the Philippines, Curanderas in Mexico, and, most significantly, the plants themselves.

We are in a crisis of sickness - the sickness of our bodies and the sickness of the Earth are intertwined, and the medicine is in the Earth.
Earth Medicine Apothecary offers herbal consultations and plant remedies intentionally crafted to aid the body, mind, and spirit. These plant remedies address the systemic roots of imbalances to be integrated into life for long-term, sustainable support. All plant remedies include plants that I have grown and harvested myself. The medicine is cultivated in alignment with the cycles of the moon and the seasons. From seed to harvest to bottle, I work with the plants in reverence, reciprocity and ceremony. The relationship with the plants makes all the difference in how their medicine is carried, and when I share these plant remedies, it is also relationship that is being shared.
Sacred Reciprocity
Earth Medicine Apothecary is rooted in Sacred Reciprocity with the Earth. I humbly work with the plants in reverence, responsibility, and regenerative practice, honoring all life through every part of my practice. After the medicines are made, offerings go lovingly back into the Earth.
All plant remedies are made with plants I have grown and harvested myself, and any outsourced ingredients are from reliable, ethical, and regenerative sources. This apothecary prioritizes working with local plants in relationship and avoiding over-harvested plants that are exploited by markets. All labels and packaging are as environmentally friendly as possible using recyclable materials. Earth Medicine Apothecary is dedicated to advocating for and spreading the practice of right relationship with the Earth.
Earth Medicine Apothecary acknowledges the traditional peoples of this land, including the Tongva/Kizh, Hahamog’na, Tataviam, Serrano, and Chumash peoples, and the responsibilities to these peoples and these sacred lands. It is with gratitude that I live and work on these ancestral lands and with commitment to truth, healing, and reconciliation of the original inhabitants and regeneration and stewardship of the land.
